At long last… the full version of Citizen Dick’s “Touch Me I’m Dick.”
Why yes, I will reblog you. Central Cinema in Seattle is showing “Singles” tomorrow (last showing) and I will try and coax my boyfriend into going with me. I also need to remember that it is Matt DILLON and not Matt DAMON who is in this film. I confused my guy to no end over the years.
“Whether it’s jazz or punk or anything else, you have to fight against the purists who
want to narrow the definition. That’s what kills music because it stifles it to death.”—Joe Strummer (via imnotapunk)
Bid on a hardcover copy of my book Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge signed by Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses, Loaded, the Fartz, etc.), Kurt Danielson (TAD), Jack Endino (producer; Skin Yard), Kurt Bloch (Fastbacks), Kim Warnick…
My grunge nostalgia has lead me to this site where I got to listen to the *FREE* Pearl Jam Ten Club show I went to in Seattle on 2/5/1995. There was a second show on 2/6/1995 which was beautifully opened with “Release” and I was a bit jealous but after listening to both shows, mine was better, even though 2/6 got Neil Young. It is best for the world that it was better, trust me. Otherwise, I would agonize over it the rest of my life.
